2023 Schedule for the Drumline PAC
The Percussion Clinic incorporates instruction for snare drummers, multi-tenor drummers (quads), and bass drummers. The staff will tailor the curriculum to the individual’s skill level and needs. Students will learn music to develop technique, listening skills, and quality of sound. All students will learn a cadence written by the camp staff. Staff will also present master classes on instrument tuning and maintenance, leadership, and ensemble skills. Percussionists will develop and enhance skills in the following areas:
- Technique
- Quality of sound / tone
- Instrument tuning / maintenance
- Listening skills
- Marching
- Leadership
- Rhythm / tempo control
- Performance control
